Spanish + Conversance

1st hour: Conversation. Colloquial expressions,
debates and discussions on current texts. Students who have a
beginner’s level of Spanish will be familiarized with basic vocabulary
which will enable them to get around and travel in Spain independently
and with confidence.
2nd and 3rd hours: Grammar (Course A)
4th and 5th hours: Conversation (Course A)

Descrizione della scuola

Il Colegio Delibes si trova in una delle strade principali, cinque minuti a piedi da Plaza Mayor. È stato recentemente restaurato e ha le tecnologie più avanzate; 26 aule con aria condizionata, una sala video/conferenze, una biblioteca e aree IT con accesso gratuito a internet e wi-fi. C'è anche un patio con un tipico pozzo castigliano dove è possibile rilassarsi con un caffè e chiacchierare con gli altri studenti durante gli intervalli.
Il nostro college è caratterizzato da un'autentica atmosfera internazionale e offre un programma di attività extrascolastiche, molte delle quali sono gratuite per i nostri studenti.

Troverai Colegio Delibes in una delle strade principali, cinque minuti a piedi da Plaza Mayor, che è il centro della città e un punto d'incontro a Salamanca.

Siamo in un edificio storico ristrutturato di recente, che dispone delle tecnologie più avanzate. La scuola ha un ampio ingresso, ventisei aule con aria condizionata, una sala video/conferenze, un'area internet, una sala comune dove ci si può rilassare tra una lezione e l'altra (o si può stare nel nostro patio con un pozzo castigliano) e, naturalmente, una biblioteca.

Il nostro college è un ambiente molto internazionale in cui incontrerai persone di tutte le età provenienti da tutto il mondo. Non offriamo solo corsi di spagnolo, ma anche diverse attività: iniziamo la settimana con una partita di bowling e alla fine della settimana organizziamo balli, cene e feste. Sono disponibili anche alcuni sport e la nostra tipica uscita dedicata alle “tapas”.

Se deciderai di imparare lo spagnolo, potrai scegliere tra dieci corsi diversi. Puoi imparare solo la lingua o fare qualcosa in più come Cultura, Letteratura, Business o Traduzione, se hai bisogno di imparare a parlare la lingua rapidamente, abbiamo un altro corso speciale "per farti parlare" prima del previsto. Forse vuoi un corso di spagnolo specifico per il tuo lavoro, un corso su misura o un corso di preparazione per l'esame D.E.L.E (il diploma ufficiale del governo spagnolo che mostra il tuo livello linguistico). Puoi studiare praticamente tutto quello che vuoi.
Abbiamo 5 opzioni diverse per gli alloggi. Ci sono famiglie ospitanti in cui "sei costretto" a parlare in spagnolo, appartamenti condivisi con altri studenti oppure puoi alloggiare nel nostro residence studentesco. C'è anche la possibilità di andare in hotel o in uno studio privato tutto per te.

"Very professional and very kind staff"

Classes where intensive, teachers where ambitious. The house of the institute had been closed and without heating for two weeks holidays, so there where really cold during the first week. Activities where suitable and interesting. There where no excursions to other cities, because of lack of participation. So I went by myself. Salamanca is a very beautiful, cosy and interesting city

"Great experience"

I am a 65 year old New Zealander who has been taking weekend Spanish classes as a hobby for the last 2.5 years at the local high school. There are few opportunities to practice and speak Spanish to native speakers in New Zealand.

Some internet browsing told me that Salamanca was a good place to learn Spanish and I located Delibes on line.

At first I was anxious that I would be so much older than the other students and that I might feel out of place, but the Delibes staff were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. The college is very well organised and they quickly graded me into a level of Spanish that suited where I was at. The teachers were challenging but also very nice. I also enjoyed my classmates who came from many different countries.

I particularly enjoyed the afternoon and evening activities programme that the school provided. These covered different aspects of Spanish culture, history, geography and comida.

I stayed in a homestay that I found myself. It was within 15 minutes walk from Delibes Colegio. Salamanca is a great place to visit. It is very safe and you can walk everywhere. There are lots of interesting places to visit.

My only regret was that I only had two weeks. It would have been great to have more time to make more progress.

"Es war großartig, einfach wunderbar in Salamanca zu leben und dort auch zur Schule zu gehen."

Die Schule ist einfach zu finden in Salamanca und hat eine Lage sehr zentral. Die Lehrer sind sehr freundlich und motiviert im Unterricht, was das lernen der Sprache erleichtert. Ich war in einer Klasse von ca. 9 Schüler die aus der ganzen Welt kamen um Spanisch zu lernen. Das war sehr interessant um neue Kulturen kennenzulernen und um viele neue internationale Freundschaften zu schließen. Die Aktivitäten unter der Woche waren nicht sehr abwechslungsreich gerade wenn man länger als eine Woche bleibt. Im Gegensatz zu den Aktivitäten am Wochenende die der Hammer waren. An dem einen Wochenende gings zum Reiten am anderen in eine Finka zum baden, Paella essen und zum Spiel mit einem jungen Stier.

These flats have a few rooms, single and twin, two bathrooms, kitchen and sitting- room. They have central heating and hot water. They are equipped with the necessary furniture to make
your stay pleasant and comfortable. All the bedrooms have a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and chair, a small table and shelves. The kitchen is supplied with all the necessary utensils (pots, pans,
plates, glasses, etc.). All flats have a washing machine and a fridge. In the
sitting room there is a large table on which to eat, a television, a sideboard
cabinet and a sofa. Students must bring their own towels. The College
provides bedclothes.
There are two possibilities:
- Single room.
- Twin (shared) room.
This type of accommodation has also its advantages. As they are shared flats you will make friends
quickly with other students from the College. In a flat you will enjoy greater freedom, but at the same
time it is a big responsibility, as students must cook, keep the flat clean and act in line with the principles of having to live together. Flats will be cleaned by the school minimum once a week.
